Ali Khamenei Dies from US and Israeli Attacks, PKB Strongly Condemns

 

JAKARTA  KONTAK BANTEN  - The Central Board of Trustees of the National Awakening Party (PKB) strongly condemned the actions of the United States (US) together with Israel against the Supreme Leader of Iran Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

"We strongly condemn the act of political murder through military operations against the leaders of a sovereign country," said the Chairman of the PKB DPP for Foreign Cooperation Luluk Nur Hamidah in his statement in Jakarta, Sunday.

According to him, the attack carried out by the US together with Israel cannot be justified under international law, is unacceptable in humanitarian norms, and has the potential to create a dangerous precedent for world stability.

He said that if the practices of the US and Israel were allowed, the world would move towards an international system governed by military power, not law.

"Today Iran is the target. Tomorrow, any country can experience the same thing. When the murder of a country's leader is considered legitimate, then there is no longer any guarantee of security for any nation," he said as quoted by Antara.

Furthermore, he considered that action against the Iranian leader could occur due to the absence of firm sanctions against various previous humanitarian violations, especially such as Israel's actions against Palestinians.

"When justice is not consistently upheld, conflicts will spread further," he said.

Therefore, he said the PKB DPP called on the United Nations (UN) and the international community to conduct an independent and transparent investigation into the US-Israeli attack on Iran and impose firm sanctions on any violation of international law without double standards, including on Israel and the US who support it.

Then, encourage the escalation of the conflict and open a diplomatic channel and protect civilians from the increasingly widespread impact of the conflict in the Middle East region.

"Today's global injustice is a threat to tomorrow's world peace. If the world continues to be silent, then what will grow is not stability, but an endless spiral of conflict," he said.

Meanwhile, he said the PKB DPP also expressed solidarity with the Iranian people.

"May they be given strength and fortitude, and may the international community have the moral courage to uphold justice and true peace," he said.

Previously, Israel launched an attack on Iran on February 28, 2026.

On a different occasion, US President Donald Trump stated that the US military had started a massive combat operation in Iran.

One of the US attacks with Israel was seven rockets that hit Teheran and were close to the residence of the Supreme Leader of Iran Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

Then, Iran launched rocket attacks against Israel, and a number of other targets in Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, and Bahrain.

Meanwhile, the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said President Prabowo Subianto was ready to leave for Iran to facilitate dialogue to create a conducive security environment.

On March 1, 2026, the Iranian government confirmed the death of Ali Khamenei, and declared a 40-day mourning period and a week-long work holiday.
